Example: The inference I can make is that Trudy is visiting her dad’s restaurant. In the passage, the author states, “Trudy’s father, in his puffy white hat, kept close watch so that each dish came out perfectly”. I know that a person that wears a puffy white hat is a Chief. Also, the father watches to make sure the dish which is the food comes out perfectly.
